Does God test our faith?; HK bus uncle.

Thursday, July 10, 2008

I just came across this topic in AF.
http://asianfanatics.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=552064
about why God lets terrible things happen to us, and why we Christians are not allowed to do so many things. So I searched this controversy up, and got this article:
http://www.helium.com/items/555385-does-god-test-our-faith

that certain topic shows how many people in the world are doubting God's magnificent powers! People don't understand why so many bad things are happening and it seems like God isn't helping them at all. And that is why we have search deeper into God's words and He'll reveal the truth :)

My friend sent this video to me. It's called Hong Kong Bus Uncle. I thought it was a video about 'A Day of a HK Bus Driver'. But no, it was much more than that. It's about this video of two men arguing.. in a bus. A guy recorded their argument with his Sony Ericsson W800i. It contains ALOT of vulgar words, and it shows.. how stressed people around the world are, till they like to cari masalah with others. It was said that he was calling a suicide hotline after arguing with his girlfriend.

The HK Bus Uncle (Roger Chan) works in a restaurant and is already 50+ years old. The argument started with the young man (Elvis Ho) patting on Roger's shoulder because he was talking on his phone too loudly and Elvis was trying to get a nap after a hard day's work.

WATCH @ OWN RISK.
note that the 1st one is in Canto and has Eng subs, the 2nd one is Mandarin, and the 3rd is canto.

  1. Be careful of what you read online. Not everything that sounds true might be true. And not everything that is true will sound true. Because people are especially vulnerable to subjecting the truth to their experiences and emotions.

In this case, the article you just posted a link to and which you have probably read, is mistaken on many fronts.

I'll talk about this more on Saturday.
