VBS 2010: Cosmic Quest

Yeap, that's the theme for this year's Vacation Bible School at Cheras Baptist Church.

And it is commencing in approximately T minus 78 hours!

We have been doing VBS for the past several years and this year is no different.
But this year IS very different because we're coming up with our own materials. Yes, we're not relying on Lifeway this time, this is an independent project. And we're gonna rock it for sure :D!

My station is going to be 'Wonderful Works'. We're going to be expanding the children's knowledge on the wonderful works of God... the galaxy, nature and the human body. It's going to blow their minds (hopefully).

Pray for us (including all of the other helpers) that we may be fully ready to face VBS!

Grey's Anatomy references!

Since it's the school holidays, I've been doing this TV-watching marathon... but I'm not exactly watching TV.. I'm watching TV shows on a computer :)

And I came across a lot of Grey's Anatomy references from different TV shows and movies, which is pretty cool because I'm a fan!

First up, Bleep My Dad Says.

Ed: This isn't a show about anatomy. It's a bunch of whiny doctors banging each other.

Secondly, Glee.

Burt: And last week you had to camp out early so that you can be first in line for those Grey's Anatomy DVDs.
Kurt: Season 6, dad.

Lastly, Grown Ups.

Deanne: How's about I take you out every Thursday night for date night?
Kurt: No, Thursday's Grey's Anatomy, but any other night would be beautiful.

Yeap, I added an autoplay music feature to my blog.

If you need to pause it, it's in the 'ABOUT' column at the sidebar.
It's the blue pause button right below my profile :)

It's a Youtube pause button, so it should be able to immediately pause after you click it.. not like those which usually doesn't pause effectively. If it finishes playing and you would like to hear it again, click the play button.

I'm probably going to change the song from time to time. The song's name is also stated there for your convenience!

You can dance on tables, tend a bar, be a vampire, be an actress, be a DJ... it's really cool.

This is definitely on my Christmas wishlist *wink wink*

Other than that, there is also The Sims Medieval. Yeah, wizards, castles, kings & queens, knights in shining armor, damsels in distress and that sort of stuff. There's a new interface and a new 'kingdom'. It looks pretty realistic. There are now fatal flaws and quests too!

It's kinda reminds me of World of Warcraft.

The king can punish someone, execute someone, spar with someone etc.

Sigh, can't believe I'm still stuck with playing The Sims 3: World Adventures. Apparently, The Sims 3: Ambitions can't work in ANY of my laptops/computers. It's crazy, it's like I'm not meant to play it!

But it's okay. I'm looking forward to playing Late Night ;)
