The Sims 3: Ambitions

Friday, May 28, 2010

Those who have been reading my blog for a long time, probably know that I am a huge fan of The Sims series: The Sims (not so much a fan of this), The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 (here and here).
Yes, I freakin love it so much I have a special label for it. Hehe.

The Sims 3: Ambitions is a new expansion pack for The Sims 3 (like The Sims 3: World Adventures).

YES I'm planning to get my hands on this one. Maybe a ciplak one? I don't know.
But honestly, World Adventures is getting a bit boring because you have only 3 places to visit: France, China and Egypt... nectar-making, kungfu or tomb-exploring... sigh.

And guess what, it's being launched in June 2nd (in America)! Yayyyy! Finally, I no longer have to wait anymore. I've been anticipating this expansion pack since it's press release in March.
Now, for some info about The Sims 3: Ambitions :pandaGeli_05:!

They have new character traits like 'eco-friendly' and places like the junkyard.

You've also got new objects like washing machine, tatoo chair, styling station, inventing table etc...

You can become a detective :mKanta:, burglar :mNo:, artist, cop, etc... the possibilities are endless!

These are randomly-arranged excerpts abotu the game from geek.com
The Ambitions Expansion for the PC and Mac, launching this June, comes packed with several exciting high-action career paths: house-call doctor, Bill Murray-esque ghost hunter, wacky inventor, masterful sculptor, investigator and more.

As the Sims take on these daring jobs, players have direct control over their work and can choose how to spend their days. For example, Sim firefighters can quell raging infernos per usual or go hog-wild on the victim’s furniture with an axe.

It’s your choice whether you work for good or evil, slack off on the job, or pursue new, creative endeavors. Players can also make over their entire town of Sims with the stylist career and new tattoo system.

Gamespot got their hands on an early version of the expansion pack. Here's the demo:

Oh my gosh can you believe that? The fireman job looks VERY fun. They have a firestation! You get to save people's lives
