Maths Paper 1
Paper 1 was ok.

Maths Paper 2
Ok, I HATE PAPER 2! Can't do a few questions :(

Sejarah (History)
THIS is the peak of PMR.
Lol, Mak Yee Leng's hubby, Sultan Abu Bakar from Johor (inside joke) was in the paper :mWekk:

Anyways, it was ok though. I think Maths Paper 2 is the toughest among all the papers (not sure about KH yet). Or I'm just really bad in it.

One more day, and it's over :) Jap buffet and movie tomorrow :D!

PMR student tries to delay test by setting fire to school

JOHOR BARU: The first day of PMR turned fiery for SMK Johor Jaya 2 here as one of the examination hall went up in smoke.

A student was believed to have torched the examination hall in a desperate attempt to delay the PMR.
One boy at SMK Johor Jaya 2, in Johor Baru, had a burning desire to escape his PMR test — he set the examination hall on fire.

This was the second time a fire happened in the school right before the PMR. The first incident happened two years ago.

The 6am fire yesterday completely destroyed a classroom which was converted into an examination hall and located on the ground floor of a three-storey building.

However, the PMR was not disrupted as the school’s administration relocated the affected 75 students to another classroom.

It is learnt that the school authorities lodged a police report alleging arson as a teacher was believed to have seen a person running away from the scene.

Johor Deputy Education Depart-ment director Markom Giran, who visited the scene, said a student was believed to be responsible for the fire.

“We think diesel was used to start the fire,” he said, adding that it extinguished at around 6.25am.

“Students taking the PMR were immediately relocated to another classroom initially prepared as an A(H1N1) quarantine area,” Markom said, adding that a total of 365 students are sitting for the PMR at the school.

He commended the school authorities for efficiently moving the students to another location without any disruption to the examination.

Markom added that a similar incident had occurred in the same school about two years ago during the PMR.

“Last time, a school workshop was torched. We believe this was the work of students who deliberately tried to stall the examination because they were not prepared,” he said.

Markom added that the culprit was never found in the previous arson incident.

He said about RM20,000 would be needed to repair and repaint the damaged areas.

PMR: Day Three

Geography
Once again.. I blew my nose very loudly and laughed to myself.
The invigilators were too tired, they fell asleep (on the chair) o.O
What kinda invigilator is that?

To celebrate the weekends, I made a blinkie!
Photobucket
Oh yeah, two more days of PMR.

I made two actually, but I will post up the other one after PMR :D
Blinkies might be tiring, but they're fun.

I'm so afraid of Maths & Sejarah next week! My two weakest subjects in ONE day. Luckily they gave us 2 days (weekends) to study. I wouldn't be able to cover up both subs in one day.

Praise the Lord, it's almost over!!!

PMR: Day Two - English & Science

Thursday, October 8, 2009

HAHA even if no one's reading this, MY BLOG IS FOR MYSELF :D

English Paper 1
Quite easy

English Paper 2
Quite ok. Not sure whether I can score for literature though!
HAHA..
I caught a cold before PMR so I'm basically SICK.
I sneezed, so I took a tissue paper to blow my nose. Apparently, the hall was very very silent. So when I blew my nose, it was kinda loud. But I had so much mucus! So I continued blowing.. it sounded so funny, I laughed at myself. Literally. Hope no one saw that.

Science Paper 1
Also quite ok.

Science Paper 2
All those questions that came out, I have never did them before. NEVER!
So I reckon, that our year's PMR Science, pretty much sucks.
The cross-pollination questions was really hard. I shoot until my bullets no more weih!!!!!

Once again, very blur case. I didn't know that Maths Paper 1 was postponed to Monday! So I thought, oh don't need to study so much for Monday (Maths 2 and SEJARAHHHH). But, guess I have to study more now.

"Do one thing every day that scares you."

I think I have accomplished that :D

Wow, my first post was on Sept 28 2007. 9/28/07. Almost gonna be 3 years old :D!

PMR: Day One - BM

Wednesday, October 7, 2009

Why am I not studying for my English and Science tomorrow? Well, am I not writing in English? So indirectly, I'm studying for my English.
Other than that, I really needed to record my expererience on my 1st day of PMR :) One of the purposes of this blog, is to record experiences which I have felt so that I could read it again another day. It's basically like a digital diary, an open one.

OK 1st day of PMR, I felt a bit queasy and nervous. Unsure of what questions were coming out. So many versions of 'soalan bocor'. Gosh, which one to believe?

I was so blur case! I didn't even know we were not suppose to bring our pencil box in the exam hall, cheh.

Paper 1 - Ok loh. Hopefully I get 30+. Raja Bersiung came out for questions 30-35?! Like what thec heck, I haven't read that one yet. So I tembak quite a lot for the komsas part of the paper. Raja Bersiung (I think) is the story about the king who likes to drink blood. A vampire king.

After the paper, we were all so clueless. Should we take our stationary and papers? Can we leave? HAHA the look on everyone's faces :P

Paper 2 - Oh, this one is the one where I got mad at.

Section A
DANGGGGGG! I started writing a few words, and then my pen ran out of ink. Fine, I have another one, thank God. OMGOSHHHHHHHH, it ALSO ran out of ink. And darn it, it's new! Haven't used it before. But I tried out the pen at home (both pens), and both worked perfectly. Now it's out of ink.
I panicked. HYPERVENTILATING...
Ok nevermind, I have a pencil (I actually had 2, but I lent one to Saw o.O). Wait, am I allowed to write in pencil? Darn, there's no time to lose, I'm gonna start in pencil.

Section B
OK, my pencil's running out of carbon lead. I need a PEN. So I put up my hand to ask the kind invigilator whether I could borrow a pen. So, I borrowed Mak Yee Leng's blue pen. THANK GOD FOR YOUR PEN, MAK!

Section C
DANG, they all look hard. So I tried the 'faedah2 memperoleh ramai rakan' question. Well, I managed to crap my way through.

Section D
OHEMGEE, 20 minutes left!!! And all the 'soalan bocor' were wrong. None of them came out xD But persoalan's okay lah. Why did they have to give us 'Kebijaksanaan Seorang Pemimpin' in Pahlawan Pasir Salak?? If they gave us, 'kasih sayang' for Panas Salju.. wahhh I can write so many (quoted by Ysabelle). This is the first time in PMR history (not sure) where they only gave us Pahlawan Pasir Salak as the only choice. A form 2 novel! And I read Panas Salju, didn't really read Pahlawan Pasir Salak. Sighs.

Wanted to rewrite the whole Section A in pen, but darn there's only what.. 5 minutes left??!

And the most ruining thing today and probably the rest of my life, is when Chong Mun Yen told me I cannot write in pencil for the exam. It was written in the rules. T.T
"Calon hendaklah menulis jawapan dengan menggunakan PEN MATA BOLA BERDAKWAT HITAM ATAU BIRU. Pensel atau pena mata bola berdakwat selain hitam atau biru boleh digunakan untuk melukis gambar rajah dan peta."

MUST WRITE IN PEN?! I WROTE IN PENCIL FOR SECTION A!! So I started calculating how much marks I would lose if the evil examiner did not accept my pencil-written answer. 30 MARKS. 30 FREAKIN' MARKS. Not 10, not 20.. but 30 :O WOIIII! Surely cannot get A or even B already loh like that. CMY, thanks for ruining my life and future :)

You know what I should have did? I should have wrote at the bottom of the paper,
"Minta maaf. Kedua-dua pen saya telah kehabisan dakwat. Harap cikgu boleh terima jawapan saya dalam pensil. Terima kasih!"

Hopefully my paper doesn't get wet or my answer won't get smudged on the way to the examiner. AND ALSO, pray that my examiner is a lenient, kind one. Hope she accepts my pencil-written answer. Maybe she became too tired after marking so many other papers, she won't notice/mind mine is written in pencil! I hate my pens. So much.
I think now, I have developed a fear. A fear for pens running out of ink.
